何のために人生を生きるのか。」という根源的な問いを、
すべて「神学の中に封印し」、
「何のために科学を研究するのか」を問わずに、
核兵器技術を開発し、人類絶滅への道を歩み始める。
この問いを封印する事によって「こそ」人間は、
ひたすら金儲けだけに、人生を浪費する事が可能になる。
その結果生み出された「金儲けだけの社会」に不満を持つ者も、
この封印のヒモを解除する事が
不満の解決策であることに遂に気付かず、
無差別通り魔殺人と、親殺しと言う、
擬似的・代換的な解決策に落ち込んで行く。
